What integrity intelligence actually means

Integrity intelligence for high-stakes decisions, in plain terms.

A wireframe rendering of a human brain, one half meshed and one half solid.

What does it mean when we say integrity intelligence for high-stakes decisions? This post dives into the core values Integrigate was built on.

Some decisions carry more risk than most. Hiring someone into a role that handles cash, or trusting a driver with a truckload of high-value freight, is not a call you want to get wrong. The cost of a bad one is real: theft, fraud, or a hire that takes months to undo. Integrity intelligence is the layer that helps you make that call with more than a record and a gut feel.

What is integrity intelligence?

Integrity intelligence is objective insight into a person’s integrity risk, produced in a structured, repeatable way, to support a decision that matters. It sits alongside a background check rather than replacing it.

The difference is what each one looks at. A clean record shows history, not intent. It is only as complete as the databases that happen to hold it, and it says nothing about what a person intends to do once they are hired, on the road, or holding the keys to a property. Integrity intelligence looks at how a person accounts for themselves now.

What does Integrigate do?

We run layered voice analysis (LVA) assessments. A trained operator holds a short, structured interview over a normal video or phone call, and the technology reads involuntary signals in the voice, the small changes that follow the body’s automatic response when a question carries risk for the person answering. Those signals are hard to coach or rehearse, because they sit below conscious control. We explain the technology in what is layered voice analysis.

You receive a clear risk report, usually within 24 hours. It gives an overall risk score, a read for each question, and an emotional profile across the interview. Before it reaches you, our team reviews every medium and high-risk flag against the context of the interview. The result is an input to your decision, not a verdict. It shows you where a closer look is worth your time.

The whole assessment is remote. There are no sensors and no physical location requirement, so it is straightforward to run across a shortlist or a whole depot, and Integrigate completes around 50 assessments a day across its team of operators. The method is not new either. It rests on more than a decade of delivery and over 10,000 assessments.

Where is it valuable?

We built the service around three decisions where the cost of being wrong is high and the records tend to be thin:

  • Hiring into positions of trust, especially cash-exposed or sensitive roles. See our hiring use cases.
  • Logistics, screening drivers who move high-value cargo, before hire and on route. See our logistics use cases.
  • Tenant vetting, alongside credit and background checks. See our property use cases.

What is integrity maintenance?

Integrity is not a fixed state. Someone who checks out at hire can still be pulled into a scheme months later, especially where the temptation is constant, like a driver moving high-value freight week after week. Integrity maintenance treats trust as something you check on a schedule, not once at the gate.

For a fleet, that means screening drivers before hire and then again at intervals, or while they are on route, so an emerging risk surfaces while you can still act on it. The same logic holds for any role where the exposure does not end at onboarding. Because each assessment is short, remote and scored the same way every time, running them on a regular cadence is practical at scale rather than a special event.

If your risk does not stop at the hiring gate, a recurring schedule keeps the signal current. Talk to us about recurring testing.

The short version

Integrity intelligence is objective insight into integrity risk, produced from a short remote conversation and delivered as a clear report. It does not replace your judgement. It gives you more to base it on when the decision matters most.

Frequently asked questions

What is integrity intelligence? Objective, structured insight into a person’s integrity risk, used to support a high-stakes decision. It sits alongside a background check rather than replacing it.

How is it different from a background check? A background check reports what someone has been recorded doing in the past. Integrity intelligence assesses how a person accounts for themselves now, and reads signals a record cannot show.

What does Integrigate actually deliver? A layered voice analysis assessment: a short remote interview and a risk report, usually within 24 hours, covering an overall risk score, a per-question read, and an emotional profile.

Is the result a verdict? No. It is one input to a human decision, and it should never be the sole basis for one.
